New 7 Wonders of the World - Vote TABLE MOUNTAIN

Dear All,

Some UN people came up with the idea of having a list of the new 7 natural wonders of the world. People around the world have to vote for what they think should be on the list.
At this moment, Table Mountain is ranked 27 out of 400 or so.. which is not bad.

We got a card from our cousin Alfie- it was addressed to all of us!

Our beans wonder WHAT the postman thought! We wanted to really brag and show the world the envelope - but our beans said that is not a very safe thing to do. We not sure why - we just want to get more mail! We just think our beans are jealous they did not get any!

Shrek - your bean here: There are lots of crazy people out there, my little Shrek! They are not as gentle and friendly like you - if only the human world was run by cats like you!

Hello cousin Alfie!

Well, it seems my beans are not being very forthcoming with what they were up to! We know that they left us aong for 3 weeks!!!! We have established that they went overseas - we not sure what that means yet! But we know they went to visit our cousin Alfie in Lydney, UK. While them beans were not watching, we furry ones sent Shrek to investigate and see what he found!



Yipppppeeeeee!!!! That Springbok jersey went with my beans over-the-seas! Alfie, hope you enjoy wearing it more than we did!

Cape Town Spectacular!

Beautiful - but we cats hide under the bed when lightning first struck! Not our cup of tea!

It must be winter....... Tom and Shrek are cuddling and their beans are not allowed near the bed.......

They're Back!

Yeeeeeehaaaaaa! My beans are back! And I think I am going to make very sure this suitcase is not going anywhere without me! My beans said that they will give a full update on where they were! But firstly, to let everyone know - Sheba is a lot better, but we still growl at each other! She now sleeps in her basket onto of the kist in the lounge, together with her food, water and own sandbox! My what humble servants our beans are!

Human Madness - Cape Argus Cycle Tour

Just a quick update on Sheba - she seems a lot better although she keeps to herself most days. Her favourite spot these days is on top of the washing machine in this old beer box that Jerry and I have just "lent" for the photo shoot! I, being Shrek still hiss at her and sometimes still take a swipe at her - but only really when I am sure no-one is looking because them beings get very upset when I do that. Anyway, I am just trying to be more dominant although I am the youngest! So to all who have been wondering and sending their purrs - thank you. We did receive them - we just did not really feel like sitting in front of the computer in 40 degrees celsius heat!

Today is also the Pick 'n Pay Cape Argus Cycle Race. Total madness if you ask me! To sit in a saddle for 109 km, even though it is a very scenic route - from the middle of Cape Tour, along the False Bay Coast, past Cape Point, over Chapmans Peak Drive through Hout Bay and along the Atlantic Coast line back to Cape Town. Oh, I can just think to the sore backsides! I will just go back to snoozing. On top of that there is a howling south-easter, so I wonder how many people will stay on their bikes, hmmmmmm. My beans are not stupid - they are definitely not taking part - their excuse being they anyway don't own bicylces! My one bean will rather go and swim 3km every morning at the gym.

Sheba Update

Update on Sheba - is a "we don't know"! Sheba seems better, but all us boys just stay as far away from her as possible. She growls at me and I naturally taunt her as well. Our beans are worried because all this growling is upsetting them. Sheba also wees on the carpet, but maybe that's because I might just be blocking her path to the litterbox. Our beans have also been super busy so they have not had time to help updating my blog. Tom and Jerry are also not too sure how to handle this situation, while Shaka just makes sure he hides away and out of danger! So if anyone has advice - that would be great!

Camps Bay & Twelve Apostles

My beans are still worried about Sheba. She went to the vet yesterday and my beans decided that it will be to our good and hers as well as our beans if she slept over. She has been growling at all of us boys if we ventured too close to her. Something is wrong and we are all worried, but at least we boys got onto the bed during the night! My beans took this photo of the beautiful Camps Bay beach with the Twelve Apostles in the background. The Tewlve Apostles are part of Table Mountain. This is supposed to take our beans minds off serious things! Hopefully by 11am we will have better news.
